Mokopane, small town between Gauteng and Polokwane, is not necessarily a consideration to drive through if you are on your way to or from Limpopo via the N1 highway. If you do want to drive through it, or crisis obliges you to turn off to the next possible town, you will have to use the alternative route R101.
