Our community based hospice provides individual and supportive palliative care services to the terminally ill in the rural communities of the greater municipal area of Tzaneen.

The impact of especially HIV/AIDS is severe in these communities and our medically directed nurse oriented programme cares for the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of the patient and family. Hospice care affirms life and no patient that requires care is refused access to our programme because of an inability to pay.

We also have a very diverse volunteer programme where people from all over the world came to experience life in Africa and contribute greatly in changing our patients’ lives. In partnership with The Little Oaks Children’s Home and Palm Springs Care Centre, these volunteers enrich the lives of orphans, chronic and terminally ill patients.
