1-2-3!! A colourful start to the last month of the year in Tzaneen! A Christmas market will be held at Tzaneen Country Lodge Conference Centre on 1 and 2 December. Visitors can expect 34 stalls loaded with a variety of delectable delicacies, possible gifts and other lovelies associated with the festive season.
 
There will be a coffee with 'boerbeskuit', spiked slushies, non-stop music, activities for the kids, ferry-trips (which can include a picnic basket on request) and a dance on Friday night. Saturday will kick off early (7:00) with the Colour Run and entrance will cost R35 per runner and R15 for non-runners. Also on Saturday, 2 December, is Collin's Drag Racing at the Politsi Road from 11:00 at R50 per person. This will be the last drag racing event for the year, so even if you don't have a vehicle to enter and you are curious, drag yourself there. You can either sleep in a bit, and rock up on time, or go for that early-morning colour run and still be in time! The next drag racing event will be at the same place at the end of January, but in February it will be held in Mokopane (Potgietersrus). On Sunday, 3 December, the popular Mina's Neighbourhood market will be held at Mina's Art Café and Farm Venue from 10:00 to 17:00. The entry fee/parking is R20 per person.
