Letaba Bassmasters form part of the SABAA Association. The South African Bass Angling Association represents the interests of competitive bass anglers across Southern Africa and is subject to the code of conduct as set down by the South African Sports Commission.

The Association has two official methods of communicating with its members : one is the print publication BASS AFRICA magazine; and, the other is the www.sabaa.co.za website.To fish competitively under the association one needs to join a local club affiliated to the association. Membership within these clubs are broken into three categories: Gold , Silver and Junior.
