The Little Eden Nursery School was started in August 1987 as a joint venture between the Methodist Church and qualified appointed staff at Little Eden Nursery School.

The object of Little Eden Nursery School is to care for pre-school children of all races and denominations in a Christian environment and to be run on a sound educational basis.

Little Eden Nursery School is a private, non-profit making educational institution run by the Tzaneen Methodist Church. It caters for 2 – 6 year old children from Tzaneen and the surrounding community.
 
This is a Christian school with the following goals:

1. To create an awareness of a loving and caring God.

2. To build relationships marked by warmth, empathy, concern and respect for each individual.

3. To provide a stimulating environment which promotes “learning through activity”.

4. To encourage the development of each child cognitively, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally towards responsible adulthood.  Luke 2:52
