This motel and restaurant opened its doors in 2007. The Magazine Motel and Restaurant is located in Musiphani village, approximately 15km from where Queen Modjadji, legendary rain queen lives, 4km from N’wamitwa and the home of one of just a few female chiefs, Hosi N’wamitwa The Second, and about 24km from Tarentaalrand, just off the R71 road which takes thousands of local, national and international visitors to the popular Kruger National Park, via Phalaborwa or Hoedspruit.
 
Starting with only four rooms, the Magazine Motel and Restaurant has grown to proudly present 22 thatched chalets. Each one has its own bathroom and is fitted with an air-conditioning unit, TV and a bar fridge. The motel/restaurant also has a boardroom that can accommodate up to 22 people for corporate meetings. 
 
The Magazine Motel and Restaurant offers 24-hour reception service, free parking, room service (which includes laundry services) and a menu offering a variety of delectable African cuisine.
