Palm Springs Care Centre is an expansion of the Care4Life community based hospice service and provides assisted living, respite care and palliative care to patients in a well equipped 8 bed In-patient unit.

The Care Centre is situated in the mountains overlooking Tzaneen on the premises of Alon International, a community based Christian ministry. It is run by qualified nursing staff with the services of medical practitioners and allied health personnel at hand.

ASSISTED LIVING  &  RESPITE CARE
Palm Springs Care Centre provides accommodation, supervision and assistance with daily living for limited time periods.

We offer temporary relief for those taking care of family members at home.
Respite care gives a much needed break for the family members while providing a positive experience for the person receiving care.

PALLIATIVE CARE
Palliative Care is the active holistic care of patients facing a life threatening illness. It is an approach which improves the quality of life of patients and their families.

Pain and symptom management are prioritised. Palliative care provides physical, psychological, social and spiritual care. It is appropriate at any stage of an illness in conjunction with other therapies that are intended to prolong life, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy and antiretroviral therapy
