We are an EXIT Programme for vulnerable women based in Tzaneen, Limpopo. Our project aims to provide women with a life beyond the streets and sexual exploitation. Through intervention, ministry, counselling, and skills (soft and hard] we try to restore the spirit, soul and body thus regaining their worth. Our social enterprise Vileli (aniVileli – means it’s nothing in Tsonga) teaches our women handcrafts for income generation (both for the project and the women) throughout their rehabilitation period and we offer them support till they are able to Exit the programme. We help steer and skill them once they are confident to “step out” of our programme in a sector of their choosing, with entrepreneurial opportunities and long-term support.
